This Privacy Policy explains how Frisk Health (“Frisk Health”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our app and related services.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to users of the Frisk Health app on Android and, when available, iOS.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile picture
  • Age or birth year

Health and wellness information

  • Height and weight
  • Steps
  • Exercise and workout data
  • Nutrition and meal data
  • Water intake
  • Pain and symptom logs
  • Rehab plans
  • Sleep data
  • Goals and progress data

User content

  • Notes you write in the app
  • Profile pictures and other content you choose to upload

Family features

If you use family features, connected accounts may be able to see limited shared information such as your name, profile picture, meal plan for the week, and cleaning plan where relevant to the feature.

3. Health data integrations

If you choose to connect Apple Health or Health Connect, Frisk Health will only access the categories of data you explicitly allow. These integrations are optional. You can disconnect them or change permissions in your device settings.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide core tracking and wellness features
  • Sync your data across supported devices
  • Enable exports and account deletion tools in settings
  • Support family sharing features
  • Deliver reminders and notifications you choose to enable
  • Improve app reliability, performance, and security
  • Respond to support requests and service emails

5. Legal bases for processing

Where GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract — to provide the app and subscription features you request
  • Consent — for optional health integrations, notifications, and other optional features
  • Legitimate interests — to secure, maintain, and improve Frisk Health
  • Legal obligations — where we are required to keep or disclose certain information by law

6. Third parties and service providers

We use third-party providers to operate parts of the service. Depending on the feature you use, your information may be processed by providers such as:

  • Firebase
  • Google Sign-In
  • RevenueCat
  • Email service providers
  • Push notification providers

These providers process information to help us run the app and are not allowed to use your data for unrelated purposes under our instructions and their applicable terms.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Frisk Health offers monthly and yearly subscriptions. Subscription management and billing are handled through RevenueCat and the relevant app store payment systems. We do not store your full payment card details ourselves.

8. Notifications

If you allow notifications, we may send reminders for meals, water, routines, family invites, and family chats. You can turn notifications off in your device settings or inside the app where available.

9. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data when needed to provide the service, when you choose to use sharing features, or when required by law.

10. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account in the app settings, your account data is deleted immediately based on the current app behavior you described, and we do not retain backups of deleted accounts.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional processing. Frisk Health includes account deletion and data export in settings. You can also contact us at Privacy@frisk-app.com.

12. Children

Frisk Health is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we take steps intended to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and may provide additional notice inside the app when appropriate.
